Bill and Tracy DeBlois - Read our Letter
Before TAG installed our new System 2000, our old system used between 550 and 650 gallons of oil per year. We would typically have three deliveries of between 185 to 210 gallons at a time.
Since the new system was installed, we have received three deliveries for 120 gallons each, or 360 gallons for the entire year for heat and hot water. With the current price of oil, our payoff will be even sooner than expected.
I was extremely impressed with TAG's installation. Sean had everything wrapped up just as he said it would be, and the System 2000 has performed flawlessly.

Thank you for giving me my hot showers back! When we moved into our new home, the last thing I expected was to wake up to my morning shower going cold within minutes. Discouraged and bracing myself to live with speedy showers, I decided to give a call and see what your team could do.
I was absolutely floored by the promptness to my issue – Sean was here right away to diagnose and treat the issue – replace my hot water storage tank. Sean was so professional and thorough in answering all of my questions and explaining how a new tank would rectify the situation. He went out of his way to research and confirm that my existing tank had a warranty we could use to keep costs down! The new tank was here and installed in perfect working order before I knew it. No mess, no trash – TAG took care of it all! In fact, looking at his work was like looking at a work of art – my basement actually looked better after his installation than before he was here!
Anyway, I just had to convey my gratitude to such a professional group. Your promptness, thoroughness, attention to detail and care of this project was really appreciated and noticed. Kathy - Read our Letter
I just wanted to let folks at TAG know that Al really helped me out last night with my hydro-air system. It had stopped at some point in the afternoon and the temperature in the house was dropping with only cool air being circulated. He walked me through resetting the burner, which ultimately got the system going again and thus preventing the need for anyone to be dispatched.
I haven’t had the need for a heating specialist since my last house in Clinton where Tom (and a bunch of other guys) replaced the steam boiler, but I remembered the excellent service then and last night’s experience simply sustained the excellent level of customer service.

Please pass these pictures on to Sean and Cory for me and let them and their boss, Tom, know that the workmanship is top notch. (And that's not from just me, but from several other heating and plumbing professionals I have had in my home over the past 24 hours to address other homeowner issues that I am dealing with.)
The professional manner in which they installed the system under my watchful eye, and the patience they took, time and time again, to answer my many questions and explain the system and technology behind it, is greatly appreciated. As a scientist and engineer with over 35 issued US patents, I have a pretty good eye for good technology and craftsmanship and I am very impressed already with what I have seen and learned!
I will highly recommend TAG and Energy Kinetics System 2000 to my friends, family, and co-workers in New England and around the world for their oil-fired heating needs. We look forward to heating our house with about 45% less oil consumption than our previous beast, and we will send you a picture of us celebrating the system paying for itself in 5 to 6 years (verses the 15 to 17 years of the various new tankless cast iron systems that the oil companies tried to convince me to procure!)
I look forward to confirming the ROI estimates and will also calculate the carbon footprint reduction we achieve over the next 5 years or so!

I have yet found a vendor that comes close to your standards in every sense of the word… you have an A+ in the 4 C’s: Customer Service, Cleanliness, Code, and Cash.
From our first call to you as a “non” customer with an emergency leaking ceiling from our A/C unit through an entire contract of replacing our 75 year old furnace, water heater and cooling system; your entire team has been professional, friendly, and attentive to the needs on hand. And our job had a lot of special unexpected needs!
CUSTOMER SERVICE: Here are just a few highlights that show how superior Tag heating is with customer service:
• Tom came over on the hottest day of the summer to do a quick fix to stop our leaking ceiling even though it was his birthday and the day of his newest child’s christening. We weren’t even a customer of Tag Heating – yet!
• Kelly is extremely prompt, answers the phone, and actually gets back to you!
• Our job had some complications and afterthoughts – additional heaters and zones. Sean was a superstar in troubleshooting our system to make sure our zones were working as we had planned them to. He came over no questions asked and stuck with the problem until it was solved.
• Mike, Jay (Jason!), Marty, and Steve were also top notch when it came to our needs. They were always very polite and friendly. My young sons loved watching them work all day. As a stay-at-home mom, sometimes you just don’t feel so safe with vendors working in your home. I had no doubts with this team.
CLEANLINESS: My husband is a neat freak! He was most concerned about soot and dirt around from all the cutting holes in the walls, jack hammering concrete, and furnace removal.
• We have a very large comic book collection that resided next to the old furnace. The team took the care to make sure that the concrete blasting and furnace disassembly was as dust and soot free as possible. AND THEY DID IT! Whew!
• Every day when the team left, they vacuumed and cleaned up. AND when they came into the house they removed or covered their shoes as not to track in extra dirt.
• Our air quality is incredibly cleaner with our new System 2000. We can tell because our son’s feet aren’t black with soot anymore after playing in the basement and we aren’t as dry in the mornings when we wake up!
CODE: Our new System 2000 is awesome!
• When the fire chief came to inspect our new system he said, “In all the years that I have been doing inspections I have never seen a job that has been completed exactly to code like this one”! That was great news to us considering that Sean and Tom had shared that our old system had some illegal shortcuts that could’ve caused some potential damage.
CASH: Over the past year we have been tracking how much money we are saving with our new A/C, Heating, and water heater. The investment up front is paying off!
• Our oil bills this past winter were 50% less than what we paid the previous year! And that is considering the increase in the price of oil AND that our water was now being heating on oil (it was heated by gas prior to Tag’s work).
• We have been using 30% less electricity than what we used last summer on our old system.
• Our gas bills are considerably less because now our hot water is heated by oil.
We love our new System 2000 – it is efficient, quiet, and gets the job done! We are also very thankful that we found Tag Heating to keep our home comfortable during all of the New England Seasons. My only regret is that I didn’t write this letter sooner.

On behalf of everyone in our family, thank you for the emergency heating service you provided over the last two days. Yesterday when we talked for the first time at 7:00 AM, you treated me like I had been a customer of TAG for the last ten years, instead of a complete stranger.
We were in a bad situation, with two kids under 3 years old, and no heat. It was 3 degrees outside, and 50 degrees inside, when we first spoke. My two children, my wife and I all had to wear our winter coats for breakfast. Now just a few hours later, the boiler is working properly and the house is a comfortable 71 degrees.

We have had the pleasure to work with Tom and his crew over the past 2 years, and most recently, they have successfully completed a boiler and hot water replacement system for one of our clients. The project went as planned, with no cost overruns and with very little inconvenience to our residents. The crew took pride in their work, and kept the site clean and safe and removed all debris upon completion. They have also taken over the regular maintenance and repair of several existing heating and hot water systems for some of the condominium properties that we manage. Tom is always efficient, pleasant to deal with, and professional and truthful in his assessment of any required repairs and replacement components. We would like to communicate a very positive experience to all fellow Bellows Farm owners. On January 3 we came home at 4 P.M. from a holiday vacation to no heat on our main living area. After an hour of desperate calls we fortunately were referred to Thomas Gamble of TAG Heating and Cooling in Ayer, MA. He called back within ten minutes and was here by 6:45 P.M. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem and charged a fair price for the service call. In this era of frequently delayed and often poor service we found this experience a refreshing change. Therefore, we would strongly recommend TAG Heating and Cooling to any of you who need service for your heating or cooling units. At our request they will be sending us information regarding a maintenance contract for regular cleaning of the heating and cooling units to, hopefully, minimize the chances of a repeat of this problem.

Thank you for a great job! You had come highly recommended, therefore, we were grateful your company decided to take on our complicated project. It took ingenuity, thought and hard work to install a whole new heating system into our 18th century schoolhouse home.
We are happy with the "System 2000" you recommended. It is more quiet than our dishwasher! It was important that the system we installed be as quiet as possible, because we have no basement, and the heater needed to be located right next to our kitchen.

This letter is certainly overdue and I am sorry about the delay in sending it to you. I need to tell you and will send a copy of this letter to American Standard to tell them of how pleased I was with the job you did for us at our condo at 449 Lowell Ave. Newton, Ma.
When I first met you and explained what we wanted to do, I was so impressed with your enthusiasm to take on a very difficult challenge and your commitment to make the process as safe, secure and economical as possible.
You had several different approaches to consider and you took your time and consulted with others as to the best way to tackle this pretty challenging project. To make things even more of a challenge, I lived in California and would not be at the site you would be working on. However, from the very beginning, I felt totally confident in you and your abilities to handle the project even with me living far away.
After you very creatively came up with a solution to add air conditioning to this old converted school building, your biggest challenge was to get approval from my very difficult condo association. I know you spend many hours talking with them, going over the plan many times, and patiently answering their questions about every small detail. I don't know many people who could have handled such a difficult situation so patiently. I also know you equally handled the inspections some of the other owners gave you and your team as you began your work. To take on a challenge such as this job and then add to it the micro-managing of some of the condo association members and do it so well is quite an accomplishment.
But, more importantly, I was so impressed with the completed job. The way you devised the unit and spent such attention to the sound issue and installed such a good looking, clean, quite and totally effective air conditioning unit is deserving of the highest praise I can give. I would recommend you to anyone and everyone and will tell the condo boards and the other unit owners of the top quality job you did for us. I certainly hope you use us for any future reference you might need and you may have prospective clients call us personally, if necessary.
So, thank you, Tom, for an outstanding job. We are so very pleased with the finished product and definitely enjoy working with you.

First let me say thank you. Last summer when I came home to a broken air conditioner and 96 degree heat, when no one I called could squeeze me in, when a local plumber gave me your name late in the afternoon, you answered my call and said that you would attend to me when you finished your already over booked day, as soon as you could, but definitely sometime that night. When you arrived you went about your work attempting to repair another man's mess. Late that night you took out a fan that you could only express hope of being able to replace. You assessed the system perfectly; it had never properly worked. Although the house was warm in the winter, we suffered every summer.
Later you frankly and honestly informed me that I needed an entirely new system. I watched while the two of you surveyed my home. You were intent on giving me the best service and equipment available. You explained my options. You gave me a clear and precise estimate of costs and scheduling and you installed the equipment just like you said you would.
The house was cool for the rest of the summer and warm all winter. I was especially pleased with the new humidifier. This was the first winter that I have spent in my house without a number of portable units running in addition to the previous built- in model.
You and your men were a pleasure to have working in my home. The heating/cooling plant looks good and I am sure that if there is ever a problem you will be there to attend to it. Again, thank you.
